My name is Sister Patricia Anglin, OP
(Dominican Sister from Amityville)
and I am the Pastoral Associate here at
St. Gregory the Great. This is my first year at St. Gregory’s and already it is beginning to feel like I have been here for many years.
I presently minister with the parish
ministers and parishioners of the parish. It has been a great experience for me. Presently we are preparing the parish for our new Lenten Program “Living the Eucharist” We all (staff) hope it is a great success.
My previous parish ministries have been at St. Ann in Flushing and St. Elizabeth, Ozone Park as their DRE in each parish.
I was also a High School Religion Teacher at St. Mary of the Assumption in Elizabeth New Jersey for the 9th 10th and 11th grades of the school and prior to teaching, I was at St. Mark Parish in Brooklyn New York as their Pastoral Minister.
They have all helped me to grow, to be challenged and to use my gifts
and talents in service to several ministries in a fruitful way.
I have been a Religious and serving for 26 years in the Brooklyn Diocese.
Prior to my Vowed Religious Life I worked at an Insurance Company for 16 years. No matter where I am living or working/ministering, the important piece for me is to be in the midst of all peoples and serving God’s people the best way I can
