This year we are providing gifts to our parish homebound, the families supported by the St. Vincent DePaul Society and Providence House. Each year we consult with the organizations to determine what their needs are and our Giving Tree reflects the requests that we receive. There are fewer tags for toys this year as the organizations have asked us to provide gifts other than toys. Requested were diapers and wipes since these items are not available to many of the families. Bedding and towels have also been requested as some families leave shelters or shared housing and set up new homes. Also, store gift cards which provide these families the opportunity to get additional items needed to establish a home. Please do not wrap the gift, place it in a gift bag with the tag attached.
